Noon "Primetimers" monthly pot luck luncheon and program in Fellowship Hall.

F.B.C. Annual Picnic after worship service, at the Bethlehem Community Park.

September 16 - Thursday

Noon Church Women United of the Wheeling Area will meet at Roney's Point United Presbyterian Church, Triadelphia. Program "Granny Go Go," Singing for my Jesus, presented by Mrs. Betty Riecks of Jefferson, Pennsylvania.

September 19 - Sunday

Panhandle Baptist Association Annual Meeting at New Martinsville Baptist Church. Youth Rally will be held at the New Martinsville Methodist Church. Concert by Jason Lovin's Band.

October 21 -23

W.V.B.C. Annual Meeting to be held at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in Charleston.

CELEBRATING OUR 177th YEAR IN 2010

First Baptist Church has maintained a continual evangelical Baptist witness in Wheeling, WV since 1833. The present Church building, dedicated in 1960, consists of five floor levels, all easily accessible by our state of the art elevator system, opening on each floor to lobbies, three of which are flooded with natural light from the outdoors. The church is situated along historic National Road in picturesque Wheeling. Surrounded by the beauty of renown parks and the Ohio River, our community is rich in tradition and resources. At First Baptist, we continue to uphold our religious tradition through a solid Bible based scriptural doctrine offering Worship services, Bible studies, Sunday school classes, many Youth Programs, including AWANA, and special events for all ages. This church is affiliated with the Panhandle Baptist Association and the West Virginia Baptist Convention.
